The Tortoise was here a full day before the Rabbit appeared in our most recent camping experience in the backwoods of central Florida, where plant life and fauna coexist wonderfully, as cattle gathered to watch from under a shady tree at a short distance.

This experience with seemingly unrelated synchronicities called to mind the story of the race between the Tortoise and the Hare, as we noticed the rabbit was on our plot of land a full 24 hours after we saw the tortoise.😀
✔Another Synchronicity… Then I ran across a poem that called to mind the Knowledge that legendary Winner must have accepted in his race to the finish line: “Thinking”, a poem by Walter D. Wintle, which ends, the one “who wins is the one who thinks he can!”
"Thinking"
If you think you are beaten, you are;
If you think you dare not, you don't.
If you'd like to win, but you think you can't,
It is almost a cinch you won't.
If you think you'll lose, you've lost;
For out in this world we find
Success begins with a fellow's will
It's all in the state of mind.
If you think you're outclassed, you are;
You've got to think high to rise.
You've got to be sure of yourself before
You can ever win the prize.
Life's battles don't always go
To the stronger or faster man;
But sooner or later the person who wins
Is the one who thinks he can!
✔Stumbling across the poem was the synchronicity that gave me the answer.
🤔Life is not about being first across the finish line, for both the tortoise and the hare ended up in the same place: our campsite. They both finished the race when they were ready.
The key 🗝 is our willingness to Persevere. (The tortoise, the hare, and I have that in common!)
Which brings to mind a little something I Know is true, in the Game of Life, Slow and Steady wins the race. The Tortoise in the Aesop fable represents that Truth. The will to Persevere is what led to his crossing the finish line.

How are you living your life, my friends?
Yours, very truly,

I have been doing a brain detox of negative thoughts for 24 consecutive days and I was reminded of the “little engine who could”, and then I came across this. God is so clever and consistently encouraging. Thank you
