This morning we woke to a mist, as if being guided to share this blog ….
On Valentine’s Day in 2017, we recorded this piece, composed and performed by David A. Starkey, and dedicated to our most cherished Mother Earth.
It was originally named, “In the Mist of Her Grace, a love song for Mother Earth.” We went with “midst” on the recording, but after spending years traveling the expanse of her land in the American Southwest and then Southeast, Northeast and Midwest, we’ve decided the original “mist” is more appropriate. After all, who doesn’t love a fine mist in the morning!
